Ninth annual launch: Sunday, 20 April 2008
Forest Park, St. Louis, Missouri. You know what? It's always hot, humid, dry, brown, uncomfortable and icky when we launch — even if it rains. So this year we did a spring launch and not have to suffer another parched, 102 degree launch day. Same place as usual: The empty fields just east of the History Museum in Forest Park, St. Louis, Missouri. Here's the updated commemorative poster.
Eighth annual launch: Sunday, 24 Jun 2007
Forest Park, St. Louis, Missouri. Another year, another rocket. The Missilefits convened in June for more rocket launchery and general debauchery. It was ridiculously hot and humid and even rained a little. Andrew's mom's car almost got blown up. Anyway, the festivities happened in the same place as last year: The empty fields just east of the History Museum in Forest Park, St. Louis, Missouri. Yay! Here's the commemorative poster.

Seventh annual launch: Sunday, 18 Jun 2006
Forest Park, St. Louis, Missouri. The 7th annual Missilefits Model Rocket Launch happened at noon on Sunday, June 18. After a short rain delay, all launches went ahead as planned, except Ben's, which pretty much flew into orbit never to be seen again... But overall, a very successful day. Bonus! The unstoppable Dan Zettwoch made limited edition commemorative posters, and we had homemade trophy prizes again. Good job, everyone! (Andrew, Tina, Lucy, Michael, bk, Diane, Liam, Sorena, Michael, Shannon, Jeff, Leslie, Brielle, Will, Velma, Stella, Ben and all y'all...).

Sixth annual launch: Sunday, 12 Jun 2005
Forest Park, St. Louis, Missouri. We launched on the cricket field because there was construction at last year's spot. We all got sunburnt, and ran out of igniters, but it was fun. Photos from this year's launch provided by Michael Kilfoy, Andrew and others (the photos from my rocket camera still need to be developed). Here's this year's commemorative poster. Thanks, everyone!
