The RPM Covers Project, Vol. 1 Monkey vs. Robot This compilation is a project started on my Robot Pirate Monkey page. Back when Gmail was special, and I was special too, I occasionally used GmailSwap to give away invites. Someone named Fandangoya posted that he'd sing the song of your choice in exchange for an invite. So I asked him to sing James Kochalka's "Monkey vs. Robot." It was so good and so bad that I needed more. I wanted to make an entire covers album. After almost two years it finally happened. All of these recordings were made specifically for this project (except #8, the original version by Kochalka). Good job, everyone! Format: Audio CD Distribution: 25 Date: December 2006 |
1 "Monkey vs. Robot" by Bob Dorsey 2 "Monkey vs. Robot" by Rudy Charisma 3 "Monkey vs. Robot" by John Miner 4 "Monkey vs. Robot" by Tha Shewz 5 "Monkey vs. Robot" by Mike Watkins 6 "Monkey vs. Robot" by Reddy Killsalot 7 "Monkey vs. Robot" by Fandangoya 8 "Monkey vs. Robot" by James Kochalka Superstar |

Sunday Songs For a non-existant 2006 MeFiSwap I missed out on the earlier MeFiSwaps for 2006, then the final round never happened. So I made a mix anyway because I have been doing so every year since 2002. MeFiSwap 2005/A (Diane's mix) [Pull Up The Covers] Diane loves MefiSwap time, as she always finds a few new songs that she loves. She wanted to participate this time so I signed up for two swaps and she made a mix of her own. She got sick of me making covers vs. originals mixes so I came up with a new theme (see above). And she promptly made a mix with a lot of covers(*) on it. "Unintentional," she says! ;-) Format: Audio CD Distribution: 10 Organizer: bluesilver.org Date: March 2005 |

Mucous Plug The Bloody Show This is a two-CD birthing mix I made for Diane for Liam's birth (Note that that is not Diane on the cover! Liam was born in a hospital.). She picked all the songs and order and I put it together. During labor she decided any and all music only contributed to her nausea, so we didn't really listen to it. Which was just fine with me, as I would have been profoundly disturbed had Liam been born during a Ja Rule song.) Format: Audio CD Distribution: 1 Date: May 2003 |

That's Wendy James from Transvision Vamp on the cover but I had to stop lusting after her because I really didn't like the band's music. Format: Audio cassette Distribution: 1 Date:1992 |
